Whether you can get your head round the reality of our existence or whether you choose to keep it simple and believe in the many god(s) stories, I don’t suppose there’s much difference. We got here and we will live on, or at least our atoms will. Rather than trying to get everyone thinking the same way, we’d be better concentrating on how best to prolong our species existence
When he describes it like that, it sounds like a creation myth anyway.
Knowing all the science about this don´t make me feel small. It make me feel big. We are in the universe. The universe is in us! We are a part of the universe that are greater than every human imagination combined! The might of the sun and the rest of the universe are by far greater than any god or gods combined. When Cox, Tyson and late Hawking talking about this I feal at awe about the greatness of me and mankind. We can think, explore, feel love and compassion for fellow man and animals. We can do stuff that early man would see as magical. We will do stuff tomorrow that was impossible yesterday!
