It´s flat because your tools are seeing it flat not because it´s flat . If the big bang it´s true then the universe probable expanse in all directions . What Brian Cox say it´s the same as what flat earthers saying THIS IS HOW I CAN SEE IT THIS IS HOW IT MUST BE . If the tools that we are using are limited we are seeing limited thing´s . I am not saying that he is wrong i am saying that you can´t say that something is like this if your tools can´t see the full picture of what you are want to see.
