wait 100 years travel time? how? alpha centauri is 4.37 light years away thats 40 trillion kilometres away, i believe parker solar is the fastest probe we have, although not designed for interstellar travel, even at its speed it would take 73,000 years to reach that star system. To reach alpha centauri in 100 years, you'd have to travel at 10% the speed of light, which isn't possible.
I didn't even know Mars had water on it. I always thought that surely if H20 is present then life will be? Maybe I was wrong in thinking like this
As much as we monitor our earth's surroundings we still can't predict when meteors or comets might impact this world we live in. Over in mars you have 0 protection in when what might happen. Rather it's a Mars quake or a mega dust devil there's more danger in them not just getting there, but too be able to live. That only creates more danger on our planet just so we can keep Mars stocked til God knows when. It's takes more than just air and water as wanting to live
