You would be a bit pissed if you travelled 100 years, were frozen and got there and to see nothing.
We send robots and embryos. In 80 years the robots start to make the babies by the time we get there the kids will be 20.

When we finally do decide to send humans to another star it would be far simpler to load the people's consciousness onto a computer to dwell in a simulation while the trip is in progress and upon arrival they can then inhabit new bodies they would not even have to be biological initially
The reason this would simplify things for the most part is it dramatically reduces the mass-energy requirements because no type of life support is required
Inhabiting these mechanical bodies while they do the work of terraforming
