I lived in Okinawa from 2012-15 my stepfather was given orders to PCS from the USMC. We really loved the food and the culture. And yea I seen and I have met several of the locals who themselves were speaking the original Okinawan language Ryukuan until somewhere around the mid to late 70s Japan turned their language to Japanese making Ryukuan a dead language. I’ve met Okinawans who are centurions and it’s amazing how they take care of themselves. After I came back to the states I never wanted Japanese food in America ever again and some of my family I feel like they tease the shit outta me cuz one will wanna go to an Asian restaurant and I gotta be dragged along with no say lol. I really do miss Okinawa. The snacks the delicacy of the food and dessert and the drinks. Every block you went there was at least 1-2 soda machines and sometimes there would also be a cigarette vending machine on the corner too. I’m thinking about going back to visit in my life time. Food is wholesome and food is natural
They eat a diet high in purple potatoes which are high in Anthocyanins.
Living in a homogenous environment helps you live longer !!!! No racial strife or culture clashes !!!! 🙄🙄🙄
Note how often he she’s away from”difficult” or “unpleasant”. Lives of constant comfort are the enemy tiling healthy lives
