Eat less, keep active and dont stress. The rest is luck.
It would be an absolute dream of mine to visit Okinawa. To walk where so many fought to the death. To walk up sugar loaf hill and visualize what went down in 1945.
We all want it to be one thing like diet, but that’s not how it works. The guy who does everything right with exercise and diet yet has stressful job and no friends,, no thanks. I think it’s best to find what you like to do, develop community with other healthy / active folks, and when it comes to eating focus on unprocessed foods. Randomly eat 1-2 meals a day and that covers the intermittent approach and benefits. Live everyday as if it’s your last, and one day…you’ll be right.
Mr miyagi is from Okinawa
I lived in Loma Linda , 1970, to 72, went to University there, and worked at the Hospital. Saw Hulda Crooks ( 23 times climbed Mt Whitney ) daily, Tall and with a long stride she walked everywhere, never saw her in a car. The Town grocery store had no meat, lots of nuts, and vegetables.
