Wrong if you catch it quick enough you don’t destroy it. There’s a myth of a prophylactic dose of Doxy to take within from 24 hours. BS and I’m proof.
Also Plum Island is real, not BS.
And yes the lone star tick is now across United States not just loculated.
Plus, when a tick bites you it doesn’t just give you Lyme, but a host of coinfections.
To boot CDC says “no such thing as chronic Lyme”, so the people that treat, and are still sick are completely screwed. Again, I’m proof.

I have LoneStar disease, possibly Lyme disease as well and doctors have been reluctant to test me for it, I have a lot of the symptoms for it, but because I live in the south east they tell me it is unlikely! It’s a bunch of bullshit. I feel like an 80 year old week man in a 41 year old body. There are days I can barley move, all my joints hurt and feel like I have the flu without the fever.
