How can Gary be so smart on science and so stupid on corruption in government (he hates Trump)?
100% Keto is not a sustainable diet for a lifetime….for me. I cycle Keto for a week, then do a 3 day water fast, then cycle back into Keto for a week and then go on a 3-4 week time-restricted eating lifestyle. I up my carb intake to comfortable levels when in my eating cycle, careful not to spike my blood glucose level to super high levels. This works for me.
58:48 Gary, I'm a fan of yours, but you're wrong about the snickers bar.. the fat in the snickers bar causes insulin to spike even higher.. when you mix fat with carbs it causes a much higher incretin response than carbs alone. (fat alone doesn't raise insulin much at all) See Dr. Eades youtube video on incretins.
Totally reminds me of Matthew McConaughey, a tad bit older version maybe. Super interesting podcast though! Awesome. Should have way more views.
Americans – can all talk about sports. Science is more exciting. It reminds me of the erection scene in gamechangers
