  1. The rule about not being able to kick or knee someone in the face when they are on their knee is utterly ridiculous. You should not be able to be on your knees if front of a fighter and not pay a price. If you don’t want to get kneed or kicked in the face, how about not getting on your knees while you are in a fight? They get on their knees or slide around on their butts because they know you cannot knee them or kick them in the face while they do it. It is just ridiculous. You cannot effectively punch anyone in that position, but it is the perfect positioning for knees and kicks. That fighter saw a face in front of his knee and Seized The opportunity. The other fighter should not have been in that position in the first place. Rules should not protect or promote such tactically unsound fighting principles. It is just like the 12 to 6 elbow strike rule: it just makes no sense at all.
