I’ve been building a platform that aligns people by interest, in fact Jack’s explanation is similar to mine. I use this analogy; If the world only had one bookstore, and you were interested in a subject, You would go to the section of the bookstore where the subject is found. Not only would you find all of the resources that apply to that subject but you would also find people that are interested in that subject as well. The point being, is that we all have interest that we want to pursue, and technology is in a place where we can actually engage and align by our address off-line. Through the exposure of all the resources, means you will be exposed to more perspectives than our current social media platforms shape our behavior to do.

It’s the ultimate distraction and makes people focus on things which aren’t important. People don’t even live their lives anymore, they’re more focused on the device in their hands. It is sad that social media has this much power and influence on people’s lives.
