  1. In relation to the 5 exercises question, Brian spoke about. I feel people get confused with strength training and endurance or skill-based training. If you're in the gym your they're for strength and power, for that reason I really believe deadlifts, OHP, Squat and power cleans (kettlebells if an injury prevents power cleans) are really all you need. If you are going for endurance do cardio (sprints, continues). and "function" training I think is ball shit, your ability to output power in specific movement patterns is just your baseline strength (exercises listed above) paired with your efficiency in the movement (coming from practicing your specific sport). For example, I don't really believe in the effectiveness of punching with weight on your wrist. Would love to hear others' thoughts, cause I'm just a bloke I have no real credentials lol.
