Shabbat Shalom! Ps Doug, when you visited Brisbane early this year, I was going to ask you about the SDA's view on the physical Israel and its role in the end time. Unfortunately, I never did. But this war today presents the opportunity that I can hear your views on this matter. I believe that the physical Israel, the physical Jerusalem, and the physical land of Israel has an important role to play in the end time. I believe that Israel and Jerusalem remains a prophetic time piece (clock) for the believers.
There is certainly repentance and revival building up in the house of Israel/Judah. ZECHARIAH 12:10 – And I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look upon Me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for Him as one who is in bitterness for his firstborn.
What does the Bible say about the things that is happening now? I had been taught since I was a child that the prophecy is centered in the 4th commandment and will be lead by the Anti Christ. And America is the main player of the last day prophecy. So, I keep reading and re-reading the Bible specially Daniel, Revelation, Isaiah, Jeremiah with prayers asking for understanding. I'm hoping that you can guide me based on the Bible and the Bible alone, and not on human's point of view. God is my only hope right now, as everything is so confusing for me.
