It was 11 Coyotes…8 were Killed…. The Dog was a 9yr Old Great Pyrenese Herding Dog Named "Casper".
The Dog was initially presumed Dead because he was gone for 3 Days! But he wandered Home Minus His Tail which had been chewed off in the battle. The Dog had Life threatening injuries but pulled thru!
Hes a Big Loveable Dog with One Blue eye…and to look at him, you would not think he was such an Ass kicker!

Listening to the story again, it's interesting that a couple of years after Joe told the story, it was replayed except with a Great Pyrenees instead of a pitbull. Great Pyrenees killed eight coyotes on site and then ran off to find and kill the others. He ended up losing his tail, part of his ears, and had a bunch of injuries, but the Pyr killed 11 coyotes. I think he was elected farm dog of the year or something. That was in 2023, I believe.
