Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me! Do you remember reciting those words on the playground when the class bully would would launch his/her verbal assault at you? Repeating this expression gave you that temporary shield of confidence, yet deep down inside you know it actually affected you. Even today as adults, spoken words; and likewise letters on a screen have the same power they once held long ago. Little did you know, the scriptures actually teach this truth, yet tucked away in a book that is not widely known or read.

The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
It took Abba to transform me, but when l was young the hard words that were spoken
Were very difficult not to believe, because it was Constant and I had a hard time in life
Not to think that what was being said about me was not true.
Not only was it very destructive, but very painful too, So let us bring life to our words,
To encourage one another, and speak in love,kindness,and gentleness and show
The lost the goodness of are Heavenly Father,through our actions and our words.
