The problem with focusing on personal tax, the owners or leaders of companies leave their personal income within the company and pay themselves less. Companies or even industries influence politics. When you observe the top level of government as it relates to foreign policy, it’s all about money. Look at the historical (both back and time and recent years) what the defence budget is, and then foreign policy (US allies). It’s actually more difficult to sit back and say “I don’t know what’s going on” when you just pay a little attention at international involvement level.
This is why they lose. 👋
Correlation is not necessarily causation, Tim Pool. There is a lot of evidence that crime is increasing poverty and not the other way around. There are a lot of fallacies and misconceptions in the declarations he makes. Seems to be a guy with good intentions, but he needs to check his concepts.
I would love to know his sources for the claim that free market capitalism distorts into oligopoly.
Progressive Tax is one of the foundations of Communism, it is in the Communist Manifesto. It is taking money from the hands of those who can multiply it and put it in the hands of politicians and bureaucrats. It is like punishing prosperity.
