There is a problem with right wing, centrist and "independent" popular commentators, like Joe and Tim. They all hate progressives, as you should, but want to desperately assert themselves as non-biased and "not-a-shill" for their team. Instead of letting their logic and commentary speak for itself, they throw other right-wing commentators under the bus in a dramatic "I can condemn my own side too" display of virtue signalling. They all do this in the same way radical leftists do, by misrepresenting, quoting out of context or straight up lying about these people.
Gavin is not on the "extreme right", he has never called for violence, and the Proud Boys are not radical in any way. The group's mission is to protect themselves and others against violent leftists, which is a massive problem in the western world. They are comprised mainly of young, strong, courageous men who are willing to defend others against violence, when the police refuse to do so. They should be viewed as a national treasure. Instead, Tim and Joe think that if Antifa violently attacks someone, that you must call the police and wait for a response and not defend yourself. If the police don't solve the problem, you must take your gang beating, and refuse help from good Samaritans. Nice virtue signal boys.
