My intuition says theres something off with Sam
It’s all about payoff asymmetry…your intuition can be wrong in the elevator scenario and that costs you literally nothing. At worst you feel bad that you felt that way. But if your intuition is correct and you ignore it you could literally lose everything. Paranoia generally is a terrible idea, but narrowly applied it could save your life .
