His position resembles Biblical Predestination matching Calvinism at its finest!
It’s more often that people do know what they do and why they do it. That’s why we feel emotions like vengeance towards others.
None of what he said here is really intelligent.
It sounds like he needs to be a robot to have compassion. Sounds like he is angry with a lot of the world, and so to cope, he decides no one in control of their actions and we are just a top that has been spun, all things go in destiny one direction. Boring
How can punishment “discourage” behavior, if there is no free will? It’s a contradiction. The whole argument is black and white, no good evidence.
He actually said “destined”. Like he believes in magic now. Weird.
Then he goes into a rant against Islam, as if it wasn’t their destiny to have the culture he thinks insane
