This podcast exposed how ignorant Joe was about basic physiology. You need glucose for that “explosive “ energy. Fat fuels aerobic activity, not anaerobic activity. Being carb depleted will not help you move faster. If anything, it makes you hit the “wall” earlier in your activity.
What an intelligent, knowledgeable guy, always trust an expert who admits when he doesn't know something.
