Giving the government full control over people’s everyday needs is a scary thought when you consider how corrupt governments have been up to this point in history
If the government has control over your basic needs that means they can give it but also take it away
I’d rather rely on myself than rely on the government to stay true to their word
If we don't get a UBI then I think we will see something like the Russian revolution, where the poor rise up against the rich.
The big question is how much to give people. If it's not enough to live comfortably then it won't work.
