Do you know how DUMB you have to be to encourage people NOT to go for more education because of the cost? Do you know how BACKWARDS society is at this point? Thank God for AI. I just used ChatGPT to teach me the topic for my CCNA faster than I could have learned by myself. And I have feeling in the next 10 years I'm going to learn more than I ever imagined I could because of the power of AI tools. For zero dollars too! I say thank God, because these assholes think money > knowledge and self-development. Your politicians on the right think so too! Imagine how many brilliant people are already being encouraged as kids to become plumbers or truck drivers to make money instead of reaching their true potential? At least those kids now have a chance, government and backwards conservative/libertarian hacks be damned! Education absolutely should be a public good. Everyone should have a chance to get their career started, curtesy of the social contract. To exclude education and to pour more money into useless activities like the war on drugs is senseless.
No one should have to pay for someone else’s gender studies or liberal arts degree! Reform the system – hard stop.
