I dont see the problem with free college, you make it and trade schools free, get rid of student loam debt, turn all schools into cooperatives to cut admin costs and also having a college degree even if its basket weaving increases your income.
I think free college should be available to young people but not old people. They already wasted their life’s away and there is not enough time for them to put the money back into the system. Im from a highly educated family and the wealth gets passed down. My father pays for my schooling as well as my 5 siblings however one day I will pay for the schooling of any kids i may have. I will not have to pay my father back. It gets passed down. This might seem unfair and it might seem like I’m spoiled but trust me I’m not. I’m all for my peers getting free college. I have allot of friends it could help out. I have many friends that I wish they had the same opportunities as me.
Yang's stance on "universal income" disqualifies him.
Educational vouchers for schools and higher ed would be a good thing and the digitization of education and particularly AI as a tool for autonomous learning would also help a lot as these would make it easier to offer complex, scientific and academic forms of education and training across all forms of business and industry.
You graduate and owe student loan debt, you don't get your degree. Awesome.
