How should we view the book of Genesis? It is the foundation of the Holy Bible. Is it literal or figurative poetry? This is Part 11 of a 20 Part presentation I gave at the Declaring the End from the Beginning Isaiah 46:10 Conference in February of 2019. In this one I address the issue of the Nephilim in Genesis 6, while destroying the Sethite Theory, which NO ONE had until about 160 AD. Prior to that, the unanimous view of the ancient world, was that of the angelic (or beings from above) view.

Can anyone answer me this? If the Bible is true and should be followed to save us towards paradise and immortal life, why no concrete Sabbath Day? Not the Sun day. Is it Lunar? Is it Saturday? If Saturday,how over the millennia and the many different calendars used can we KNOW to trust our modern Saturday? Lunar would break the every seventh day because of the days in each Month sooooo???
If the Nephilim are the offspring of angels that mated with women, then why does the account in Gen 6 say that the Nephilim were on the Earth WHEN the sons of God were doing this?
It simply says that these giants/nephilim were already here in existence when the angels came down and did this, and they were here after that event took place.
Nowhere in the text does it say that the nephilim were the offspring of the angels….right?

Rob teaches post-flood Nephilim and a return of them but the Bible does not.
The thing that gets me is often you use your very common practical thinking to persuade of your stances… but you do not apply that same thing to Serpent seed understanding.
