4:07 this is strikingly similar to H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds.
Wells was also in favor of a single world government and I actually think the War of the Worlds ends that way.

Eddie is right that the only way for a One World Government to happen is to have the Population embrace the idea(s) that make it happen.
Climate Change and The Solutions for its cure is only one of the Ideas that creates a Central Governmental Control of all the Resources; Energy and People.
