Substitute "mental health" with guns, and you'll have your answer.
I think you also have to ask how anyone can be numb to the pain , terror and sight of what they are doing yet are able to continue like they don't comprehend or feel just act.
If the parents would would stay connected to their kids from kindergarten all the way through school
Be involved in what they're into and you don't have to be on homework all the time family stuff family time make it fun interesting so they won't be bored and start wandering off the wrong crowd
The parents need to quit getting on to them and everything and start trying to understand them you got to equal it out if you going to get on to him you need to play with them but just the same as you get on to him get on to them all the time they don't want to hang out with you no more I got to stay on top of them all the way through school be involved whatever they're involved in that way you can you know what they're up up to
And that way they won't be wandering off looking for something else to do or hang out with the wrong people and stuff keep them at home keep them busy I don't have to be homework fun time
