Florida is barely preventing school shootings. Other states, including Republicans, couldn’t even follow their examples.
Who cares what a Navy SEAL thinks about high school shootings? What makes his opinion worth hearing over say, a librarian? All he effectively does is nod 'yes' to Joe who, in turn, nods back in affirmation.
Dude…wake the hell up! Sounds like your solution is to have security check points at every school in the country. That is completely impossible. And, if it were possible, the shooters would simply hit a mall, a restaurant, a sporting event, any Main St USA. You can’t have security check points at every public location in the country! Get your head out of your ass! The problem is the lackadaisical distribution of guns, the glorification of violence in movies/music/video games AND the lack of consequences for those who break the law. If you’re found with an illegal firearm, you’re going to be jailed for 20 years MINIMUM. Period. If we stop being pussies and start implementing consequences, we’ll put fear into anyone who’s thinking of waving a gun around. Pathetic how it’s harder to get approved for a credit card than it is to get approved to own a gun.
Not buying your BS about 2nd Amendment rights. You’ve completely misinterpreted the intent of the 2nd Amendment. When you talk about the mental health issue, you fail to have the balls to say that we need to DISARM America until this issue is resolved.
I’m sorry to say it but the powers that be on the left want school shootings to stop BUT not before they get to use the phenomenon as their biggest wedge into the political minds of the voters. This is also why the left (power brokers) are against arming teachers and putting any kind of armed staff in schools – it will work/stop the shooting AND it will strip the left of its favorite boogie man and reason to disarm the population.
Has Joe said money well, my problem is we keep shipping money to different countries.. WTH
