I use social media. But not for the same reasons a lot of people use it for. I use it to stay up to date on certain stuff, like computer components, gaming, space stuff and whatnot. Sometimes, I do comment on social media, but not for validity – because I don't see the appeal of validity. It's just in my nature not to see any importance of that. I just am unable to. My comfort zone is actually my job, going outside looking around at tech stores and gaming. I love my job, I enjoy it as best as I can, and well… it keeps me happy.
Life is more than just social media. It's way, way more than social media. The fake validity people get goes away too shortly. Sure, dopamine is addicting. But it's one hell of a natural drug.

It's not forceful let's be real honest here. We always blame the company when the consumer is who has the most power.
Not sure if it's just me, but YouTube doesnt even suggest 'videos like this' my suggestions is usually just a list of stuff I've already seen OR closely dated videos from the channel. Not very good, personally I like a little bit of random, but YouTube just shows me more videos on my homepage only of videos or channels im familiar with already
