The Led Zeppelin stuff when they’re referring to Stairway to Heaven riff is interesting because that particular opening chord structure was all over the place in numerous songs from Jonny Rivers Summer Rain to Music to Watch Girls By, and a half dozen other songs. Not just A Randy California song, you know, at the time, in the sixties.

Ottman's reasoning was so 'complex' that he couldn't even explain it. brilliant. Obviously he's never written a book and tried to get paid for it. For some obscure reason, which he can't explain, he thinks that an artist should be okay with having his content stolen. what a dumbass.
