idk man, i respect rogan but it seems like brian kind of seemed uncomfortable through this whole thing, not really his territory. Love the both of them, but Brian tends to set his views higher than the discussed topics.
Joe Rogan does not only seem like a non-comedian, he seems like one of those people with such a terrible and/or nonexistent sense of humor that you wouldn't even bother showing him somebody like Brian Regan because you would assume he would not get it. Fucking Hillary Clinton would seem less out of place around real comics.
He has this unbelievably unattractive shitty thing he does, where he seems to deliberately deflate his own guests' jokes. Look at 28:45 and how joe response. "He used the word anus?" He says that like "oh, you thought that was funny but that's not funny, you're weird for having said that let's be serious." And then was a complete nightmare through the rest of Brian's story, refusing to react or let the joke live, stepping all over the beats and the timing to the point that Brian says "I guess you're a lot better at these things than me" – explicitly he was referring to dealing with weird people. But what he was really doing was going "jesus, okay Joe, you're dominant, you're the only one who knows funny let's move on."
Joe knows he is not hilarious and he could never really hang if it got too funny in the room, so he shuts it down. Absolutely embarrassing. Then again, Brian's "OH that's not so bad!" joke at 31:10, once more, Brian just fucking being funny like comedians do and…NOTHING. Non-reaction like that is almost hostility coming from the host of a show who invited you on. I fucking hate that about Joe so much.
