Why the hell would I want to stay sober in such a fucked up world.
Yeah, fuck head, but Plato was just one super smart dude who knew how to both enjoy his life and be a productive member of society. People who go against drugs, they do it because they don't want the masses doing it and corrupting an entire nation.
If you never experience an altered state that dissolves your ego, even if just for a moment, how do know what about your personality and outlook on life and existence is you and what is you reflecting what society and your environment wants to see.
The question we should ask is why we seek gettingg intoxicated. We don't like reallity. But why? Because it's miserable.
Beeing purinatist is not about denying people pleasure. It's about comingg back to reallity and facing hardships. Drug use makes society degenerate.
Everything that any living thing does is "natural".
