Coming to this after just having listened to Brody for the first time on the podcast (episode 424, I started from the beginning a couple of years ago) it's crazy to see Joe here saying Brody had no haters, while on the podcast Joe was so combative and confrontational, constantly telling Brody he was wrong and insulting him, telling him he was too self-obsessed. Obviously there's no link between that one podcast appearance and Brody's death, but it really seemed pretty clear that Joe didn't like the guy. So to hear him here saying "he had no haters", it's like Joe you were a hater!!
I will say, if any father is feeling distraught over having to work away from their kids – My Father had to work away every single week, sometimes only being back for one night.
He's my role model, still to this day. Such a hard working man who did what he had to do for his family.
"Get on meds and stay on them", is bullshit. Meds work at the same rate as a placebo: 32% success rate. So, just because meds work for you, doesn't mean you can tell the other 68% what to do.
Was he a vegetarian? They have a higher suicide rate.
