The tower was so big that it wouldn't even be possible if the earth was a globe. They'd have to take the curvature into acount for the fondations, it couldn't be flat.

This is the only area I disagree with rob. The entire nephilim fallen angel stuff. This idea began while the jews were in babylon and babylon means confusion so I'm extremely hesitant to accept it as it only appeared after Israel adopted other cultural influence.
Rob – was the tower of Babel (Nimrod) really that tall 8150ft? 200 sq mile base to the structure, could only have been built by Giants?
