Space time, the observable universe, the speed of light, are perceived the way we perceive them simply because of OUR perception. From one point of view to another so to speak. Theres things in interstellar space that are BILLIONS of times more massive than our sun we cant see called black holes. Theres stars if they sat where the sun does, the equator would stretch past JUPITER. We are so ignorant to think carbon based life is the only successful form of complex life that can thrive. There could be silicon based life forms whos existence is so drastically slowed down what is comparable as a year to them is a lifetime to us. Theres things called pulsar. The matter in which theyre made up of is so dense, a tablespoon of it has as much mass as Mt.Everest. The speed of light is 186,000 m/s. I believe its not the speed thats the issue, its the navigation. The paths between star systems would be blitzed at such a speed that course corrections are impossible. So maybe theres a form of what sci-fi authors refer to as "hyperspace". Where the laws of physics in a 3 dimensional space time continuum are thrown to the wayside and something like e=Mc² means less than a fart does here. My point is, all this is simply speculation. All of it. So take everything you hear with a grain of salt. Arithmetic only tells the truth in 3 dimensions. In the 4th, 5th, 12th??? Who the hell is ANYONE to say what is or isnt when speaking about entities that can traverse alternate dimensions? We cant begin to speculate what a 4 dimensional cup of water would look like. Think about this, lets for a second pretend that Jessica Rabbit is a real, living woman. However she resides in 2 dimensional space. You go up to ask her out and she looks down, screams, and bolts. You know why? Because a 3 dimensional object is IMPERCEPTIBLE in 2 dimensions. We would look like 2 footprints on the ground to them. So what would a 4th dimension being look like to us? Maybe a silver ball that takes our laws of physics and makes them its bitch? I wouldn't disagree with that theory. You know why? Because from where i sit, the arithmetic doesn't exist to hypothesize in the opposition.
