Violence in Chicago is mostly gun violence. In Mexico, the violence is much more extreme and brutal.

Wherever there's a drug dealer there is going to be a shooting. North Chicago isn't really safe, is just less ghetto than the places that are mainly occupied by poor African Americans or undocumented people (easy targets for criminals).
