So…..honest question. What do you do when you are 34…..and have failed at every attempt you’ve made in your life?
When you have no successes to look at, when every friend you’ve ever had has abandoned you because you are “too depressed” to be around.
When an abusive father tells you “I can’t help you because god helps with all my problems.”
When a woman you committed your soul too leaves you because you don’t make enough money.
When the only thing keeping you from slitting your wrists is working out every day.
How do you build self worth on a foundation of failure and abandonment?

In the last part where they are talking about the lawyers, apart of being a good lawyer is to prepare a defence for both sides when on a case so you can predict what the other side is going to argue. Also I’m pretty sure public defenders just get assigned a case weather they want it or not.
