We only have 50 red wolves left in Missouri. Sad.
Lets face some simple facts. Hunters hate wolves because the wolves will do the job that hunters want to do. Predators actually help keep the prey species healthy by killing the weaker members of the herd. Hunters on the other hand kill the biggest trophy because they are doing it for vanity. The only risk introducing wolves has is they will sometimes kill livestock because it's a much easier source of food. Farmers have a right to be upset about wolves…hunters don't. Joe and Cameron give the world distorted facts about wildlife because they have an inherent bias as hunters. They want to believe the natural world needs human hunters to keep the population healthy and the fact is the natural world can maintain balance with the natural predators.
