Good observation about Seaport being like Dubai. Dubai is a neat place to visit but definitely lacks character or warmth. For one it's younger than I am and secondly, no one there is from there…Not like LA, it's like 85% of the people there are visiting on on visa. Just happened to travel through Seaport while helping out my brother a few years ago. Shake Shack, mirrored business towers, restaurants, but everyone is there for the day or working.
