This couldn't be anymore disheartening. What a horrible bunch of selfish, prideful, narcissistic billionaires that live in the area. Why does everyone say the homeless need to be in the city? Why not purchase land outside of the city & install/build tiny houses similar to sheds (practical). Have sanitation in place & bring social services to them. Build practical/basic satellite offices for social services. Build a food pantry/thrift store & accept donations. Come on, it's not that difficult. We are talking 'billionaires" that have plenty of cash to spare to help. It's because they do not care. Their actions prove the way they feel. Edit = want to be clear. I'm not talking fenced like a FEMA camp. Intelligent tech people are sometimes so smart they lose all aspects of being practical & common sense. Completely over analyzing & wasting money on the situation.
Open minded, progressive people are not open minded to anything outside their own view of the world
