Steve Sat next to me at a local Chinese spot and just started chatting. We talked for about 15 minutes until his food came but I never acknowledged who he was. On his way out he says "My names Steve and I tell jokes". I told him I knew exactly who he was and thanked him for a thousand laughs. A thoroughly enjoyable 15 minutes of my life

I LOVE Steve Sweeney! Saw him and Denis Leary opened for him in Nahant, MA, around 1988 or 89. My face hurt from laughing 😂😂😅
This guy just checked into the hotel I work at. Never heard of him. Didn’t realize how famous he was until I saw this clip!
In case you are wondering: he acts EXACTLY like how he acts here. Super nice and very kind and appreciative.
