It just needs explaining in terms of what plane the strike is thrown in. It's either vertical only or its any elbow that is thrown straight along the plane of the fighters body. Simple.
The thing is Goddard, you won't generally see a clock on the ceiling, not because they only hang on walls as any other way is silly, but because that's the most practical way to hang a clock. But nothing is stopping me from putting my clock on the ceiling. In fact, thinking about it now, it makes sense to have the clock on your bedroom ceiling, as you wake up horizontally. Unless you're Michael Jackson of course, in which you wake up lying next to someone else's child/McCauley Culkin. He would be best placed to place the clock on the top of their head (ideally with a chin strap on to keep it from slipping off under momentum)

It's stipulated that any pass to the keeper means that they can't handle the hand-egg. If it was just described as any pass 'back' to the keeper, then it would be confusing as a referee could argue that a pass from the goal line forward to the keeper allows them to handke the hand-egg
To be honest, MMA needs unified rules across all promotions. World Hand-Egg kicks are still allowed under some rukesets, but banned in most. What next? Low blows to the eggsbare allowed if your shorts are too low? becagse its no longer belowvthe belt? Tyson Fury has already used this to his advantage by wearing his shorts so high that they hang between his moobs and his love handles (or more appropriately, his moob-handle area)
Yeah its within the rules, but obvious stalling to taje a riund on control only is a bad look for the sport as it trns the casual viewer away from the sport
