  1. The basic problem is that weak people, i.e. Twitter executives, assume that everyone else is weak, therefore they have to protect other people from "hate speech," i.e. "someone said something that hurt my feelings, boo-hoo-hoo," so they they need to censor anything could could possibly be "offensive." This invites the government to get get involved to block an obvious violation of the First Amendment. The government, predictably, will fuck things up, and go overboard. So, my take on it, if you (Twitter executives) don't want government oversight telling you what to do, grow up, and stop assuming that everyone else are weaklings who need your protection to prevent being "abused." We don't. And the small minority who are whining for "protection" from "hate speech" are statistically irrelevant wimps not representative of what the vast majority of Americans actually want.

Of course, now that Elon Musk has bought Twitter, everything I just said may be old news.

  2. Here's the problem as I see it, the algorithm is biased, and there is no possible way to prevent it from being because the ppl feeding in the data, the words and phrases that trigger it, are not objective robots. The other part to this is that Jack himself admits to not knowing how the algorithm arrives to a specific conclusion. That's scary to me that you can have this highly influential platform but be able to explain how it operates, but it also makes sense because at some point a company will grow so big that those at the top have no idea of what's going on at the bottom. It's impossible for them to have direct knowledge of most specific things so the company itself is more like an organism where your heart isn't concerned with what the toe nail is doing.

  3. That dude is so annoying. Bruh no matter how invasive technology is in our lives right now. You still don’t have to use a single one of those things he named to make a living. They are for benefits to life and for leisure. You don’t have to use banks or mobile banking and you don’t have to use social media. Not for your general livelihood. Like that little rant on being terrified just came out stupid to me.

  4. These 2 ppl are liberal in speech only……not action or daily living. Just like most rich democrats……would they house illegals, pay for sex surgery? Would they house the homeless in their own home??
