Climate change cycles, nothing immediate about it. Sorry, scientist don't know, we will be heading for an ice age!
This comment section is so fucking bad my god. All of this guys claims are backed by real evidence, you don't need to be a scientist to write a book and then talk about this subject, you guys are fucking stupid.
Wow, people seem to really be climate deniers these days. This guy was a good guest, his facts check out.
I don’t have the time to fact check this guy…but the number of times I heard “I’ve done the work” combined with times I heard “my book” combined with the fact that literally none of the facts presented were treated with even one remote iota of scepticism…like people rape more when it’s hot….leads me to believe this guy has the worst case of confirmation bias I’ve ever seen on Rogan. The planet is getting warmer, but there are some very credible physicists…not climatologists who are overwhelmingly biased by the way studies are funded…but physicists who disagree with the direct causal link to CO2. CO2 does increase with population size…and industrialization…but so does deforestation, urban heat island effect, black body radiation from all the new asphalt roads and roofs, etc. If these people were sincere about their beliefs, they would have lauded the 1 trillion tree campaign announced by Trump at Davos, which would have a substantial impact. But instead they are fucking stuck on CO2…not realizing that this obsession withCO2 will make the rich even richer at the expense of the poor and middle class.
Mass hysteria. This will be laughed at in 10 years the way the ice age predictions of the 70s is now.
