It's dispiriting how many people claim to be fans of hers but don't evince knowledge or love of anything she's done other than her debut. Nary a fawning fanboy or girl wants to speak with her about the sublime Whitechocolatespaceegg or the unfairly maligned 2003 record, both of which display tremendous songwriting talent.
