What an unbelievable privilege to listen to this guy speak. Makes me think how fortunate I am to be 20 years old in university.
This is beautiful… really difficult to find such intellectually pure conversations.
Just my own personal opinion but I think if you haven't seen the Zeitgeist documentary moving forward Peter Joseph the help of some intellectual psychologist bring up a valid point that you can't base human behavior solely on genetics but you have to take into account persons influences as well there is an average human intellect a prototype if you will of average intelligence below-average intelligence can I have several different factors involved due to genetic birth defects due to the mother's State of Mind stress weary can have an effect on a human being in the womb whether or not the mother took drugs after conception birth the environment plays a major role in a human beings development if you take a baby at birth keep it in solitary confinement with its only companion being a dog and don't teach it anyting that person would most likely grow up not knowing how to read or write not knowing about math running around on all fours barking like a dog so to say that one group of people it's intellectually Superior to another based on their genetics are there race is ridiculous geniuses it's not necessarily born it is influenced cultivated if you will there are human beings that are born into this world with better working mines than others and it could be said the cause of this is due to the health genetics of the mother and father but the influences an education of the genius is the determining Factor whether this genius grows up to be Albert Einstein or a skid row bum if a person is born relatively healthy without any genetic are chemically induced defects the largest part of that humans being development is determined his or her black or white education and cultural influences religion don't even get me started I don't even have to say anything about it Christopher Hitchens and Sam Harris have said it all for me fascism knows no race or religion it is found in every race every religion for you said it Joe it's worldwide insanity and it will most likely end in the extinction humankind and no I don't think that whatever God you believe in is going to come down create a new Paradise it's all in your mind you may think and believe there is a God but what you actually believe is what other human beings I told you to believe about God how is it that the human race can be so intelligent so profoundly stupid at the same time the truth is and I have nothing to gain by lying to you this world we are all born into is a complete mystery and we don't have all the answers just like the Pied Piper led the rats through the streets dance like marionettes swaying to the Symphony of Destruction Megadeth
