Ibogaine is totally 100% hallucinatory to some (myself incl.) different in character than your "classical" psychedelics… 3D world behind the eyelids, seeing actual PEOPLE and the entire history of life on earth, saw my own face sick and sad then the skin & muscles melt away to reveal a sapphire blue skull vibrating w/ energy & then the muscles and skin regrew in a new happy smiling arrangement … id say psychedelic for sure! The weird deal w/ it is that apparently not everybody does trip… I say weird because I trip hard from it and know many who do… but apparently for some people it's just like a strong introspective experience, met these guys too & maybe they are Julie and the slight majority out of the dozen and a half or so people I know who've used it; I get that experience too, in fact there is a longer second phase to the experience which is characterized by intensely modified thoughtforms (in a positive direction, lots of positive self-talk for instance) and introspection but also extremely powerful closed eye visuals. It is a weird one, different for everybody is a maxim with it: more than your classical psychedelic, have no expectations when it comes to ibogaine.
