Your view of scripture is determined by the glasses you have put on, they can be Baptist, Methodist, Church of Christ, Nazarene, name the denomination and they all have their own glasses through which they interpret the scriptures.
There are 33,000+ total of these "Christian denominations" in 238 total countries.
These 33,000 are subdivided into "6 major ecclesiastical-cultural mega-blocs", and ordering them by denomination size we have (I am rounding up or down slightly for convenience, using the year 2000 figures) :
Independents (about 22000)
Protestants (about 9000)
"Marginals" (about 1600)
Orthodox (781)
Roman Catholics (242)
Anglicans (168)
So the 33,000 number is from the total of these 6 mega-blocs:
22000 + 9000 + 1600 + 781 + 242 + 168 = 33,000+
In order for there to be that many, they must all teach at least one doctrine that is totally different from all of the rest or there would be some lesser number of them, ask anyone from any of them which one is the right one, and they will all say that theirs is and the rest are false.
I am going to go with none of the above

The Church that Jesus founded upon Himself has never been prevailed against, and survives to this day as individual members of that one body, spread all over the world to witness of the truth. anyone making the claim that they are just restoring what Jesus started are bold faced liars, as Jesus said not even the gates of Hell would prevail against His church. if you have to resore something that means it fell and needed restoration, the true church of Jesus has never fallen and is very much alive and well today.
When it comes to my bible, I prefer to read it and believe it just as it reads, I do not want anybody's interpretation, I want to read and believe the bible as it reads period.
With 33,000 denominations available that in and of itself tells you that men have made their own doctrines out of their own hearts, no thank you.
The rapture is for the 12 houses of isreal.
REVELATION 10:11 indicates that John must prophecy again! So could also be John as a witness. However the two witnesses could also be Christians and Messianic Jewish Believers. Or The Old & New Testaments- as in sweet the old is past prophecy fulfilled,and bitter is the Prophecies yet to happen on earth. Time will tell as the day approaches.
