The corruption of Donald Trump comment invalidates every point this guy made leading up to it. Everyone in power is corrupt, to focus only on one guy is lazy and a complete sell out at the time this was recorded.

Basically everyone in the comments and in the video are wrong. I don’t think Hunter s Thompson reveled in destruction. I don’t believed he saw the world as good and he rebelled against it with destruction. Hunter saw things as inherently detached, not this spectrum of normalcy and he was attempting to distance himself from it with destructive acts. Hunter lived exactly how he wanted to live and it was adjacent from society as a commentator analyzing it through literature. He didn’t operate on the spectrum that you’re trying to place him in.
