Brad Pitt is sadly actually a pretty jarring example of why guys like Harvey are able to continue to exist. What Brad did in 1995 was pretty cool, no doubt. But at the same time years later down the line he still worked with Harvey for some of his movies. In addition to Gweneth he was also told be Angelina that Harvey had done things to her too. So it’s definitely dope that at one point he had the balls to step to him at the same time he’s a prime example of why Harvey was able to do this because even after that and knowing things he’d done to at least two women in his life it didn’t stop him from being willing to work with Harvey.
Harvey and others like him exist because even though their behaviors are known because people are willing to look past it when they needed Harvey for a project or role for a film. Imagine if a star at the level of Brad had been willing to refuse work publicly because of Harvey. Would he have still skated by? I doubt it. I can understand sadly why so many didn’t. They didn’t want to risk their careers or money to do it, and sadly I would bet that a lot of the people who have lambasted his behavior would probably have doen the same to protect their careers. But people who continued to work with him even when they knew what he was doing are the reason it went on for so long.

The NY story is a lie. The truth was tweaked by a reporter(s) to be some miserable thing. No less than 9 people called the police, but the police did not respond. Stop perpetuating this horseshit.
