well what he just said about Yemen is obviously false. what, now wars can't be won? when did that start? Territory can be occupied and controlled, insurgencies can be suppressed and destroyed.

As much as I believe what he is saying is credible, the Iran issue goes back much further also I pay attention to these things and possibly his micro experience in these places has scewed his macro opinions. Agree tho, Saudis, bad guys, the Iranians, bad guys(the governments) the leadership of Iran wants to destroy Israel and denys the Holocaust so really how much were we really going to work together, govt to govt, more sure, but would they still have been trying to get us out after we took out Saddam, 100% yes. We set up a legit democracy on their border that's an existential threat. I'm sorry Vice used to be a good outlet for some content and info that was extremely useful, now they seem to have turned full blown extreme left borderline marxists or enjoy bashing the USA if they think the wrong political party has a bit more power than the other. It's been a year since this interview, vice has perpetuated lies and spread disinformation and that is a fact that's proven. Although I will say this guy is interesting and obviously intelligent unfortunately has blinders on in some crucial areas
I dont know how talented a comedian or how good an MMA fighter Joe Rogan is as ive never saw him do them, but credit to him for trying his hand at different things
