Stephan is way overly hostile. Jeez. Keep it in your pants man. Makes himself look foolish.
Stephan is an arrogant fuck
They're both wrong. One because he's just simply mistaken and needs to get up to speed on nutritional ketosis. The other is because he's been corrupted by big food and the stupid pseudo science they put forth. Referencing a 2-3 week study to make a claim that sugar(high insulin) alone doesn't cause obesity and that it is just simply over eating that causes weight gain is ridiculous. The issue is a bit more complicated than that and his claims are an attempt to steer people away from blaming corporations that make billions selling sugar/carbs. If someone cuts carbs/sugar out of their diet(less than 50g carbs per day), and if they make it through the sugar withdraw and transition into fat metabolism which will take 6-8 weeks(less with exercise) you WILL lose weight regardless of how many calories you eat. Gaining weight while in nutritional ketosis is actually difficult if not impossible for most. The only people who wouldn't be able to lose weight with keto would be those who are taking medicines/drugs or have some other disease/ailment preventing fat metabolism. I lost 120 lbs. and came off 7 different medications using nutritional ketosis. EVERYONE needs to learn they have a hybrid energy system in their body and how it truly works. This could literally save trillions in medical costs globally if we did, not to mention all that pain, suffering, and depression.
The superfluous calories will keep the children hungry as they have no nutrition but the kids are continuing to grow; hence they're eating but still hungry as their bodies are craving nutrition. The women are already fully grown when they're getting obese from the nonnutritional consumption.
Unfortunately, the obesity problem is that we're going to eat even if we aren't a bit hungry!
